Problem with Windows Media Player 12

    Hi,have just bought the Aspire 1 dual-core.On the whole really pleased with it`s performance and this is my first netbook and also first time with Windows 7.This problem has been documented on window 7 forums so I don`t thinks it`s the Acer.Basically wmp12 keeps updating rubbish to a folder marked unknown.Tried all the usual tips like restoring databases etc.,but to no avail.
    Has anybody here had a similar issue and if so have they managed to solve it?
