    Hi all,
well i took the plunge and installed ubuntu on my AAO. Now im very impressed, i have learnt how to install things and customize how i like. Bare in mind i am a linux noob completly. Never touched it before ubuntu.
Anyway. I wanted to install virtualbox so i could run winxp because unfortunatly i need to run a couple programs for work.
I installed it using the synaptic package manager and i get it installed, i create a virtual machine, but when i click start i get an error. I have attached a screenshot to show the error. Now i know enough to think that it is a driver/kernal issue but i am unsure how to progress and get it working.
I am using Sickboys kernal and am running the 120gig 1.5 gig ram AAO.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.
    Regards

    Hi --

I have virtualbox running on my aspire one (with sickboy's kernel).
First, make sure you have the kernel-headers package installed,
    then (in a terminal)
    Code:
    sudo /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup
That should ask for your password, then build and install the necessary kernel modules for virtualbox.
If you run into any errors, just post the messages here.

    cheers
