Problems installing VLC

    My new Digi Camera takes Mp4 movies that play with no sound in MPlayer

    Followed this guide to installing VLC on my AA1

    It ran through and I had a desktop ikon (with no text) until I rebooted. No I have an invisble icon that just kills the desktop.


    Can someone help.

    1 to remove the invisible icons.
    2 to install VLC / or a codec so that Mplayer can play mp4 files.

    Managed to remove the dead icon but still can't get MP4's playing .

    Anyone able to offer a solution?
