Problems with Booting XP

    I bought an aspire 8GB SSD ZG5 with XP from Staples. After a while, it has started to ask me to disk check at every boot up, so I disabled it using the chkntfs /x c: command. I was wondering however, if its normal at the beginning of the XP logo loading for it to skip really badly, before resuming normal speed.
