    HI all.
I recently downloaded a program to my Acer Apsire One.
The problem is the program will not fit on my screen properly and I cannot run an important update so that I can use the program. It cuts off an inch or so of the program at the bottom.
I have tried resizing fonts, icons screen res. I have tried moving and stretching the program ... it will not stretch enough.
The program requires a screen res of 1024X 768 or greater. I have tried to adjust this, but it will not stick and does not chaneg the size.
Does anyoen have any tips on how to remedy this issue?

    Thanks,

    Jen

Not sure on which system you are, windows, linux ?
Anyway, on my system ( linux, not an aspire-one ) this works:

First un-maximise the window ( the button next to the x ).
Then press and hold the left alt key, now you can 'grab' the window somewhere in the middle and push it up, the window will now go higher than the top.

    HTH, --Japser.

    Hi Japer.
    I am using XP.
I have tried what you mentioned. That works for some of my programs, but not this one.
I think I need to be able to shrink the actual window some how.

Can you attach an external monitor to the AAO to overcome the problem?

    What a great idea!
I tried it & the external monitor I have ...which is very old, is not working.
    <sigh>
My other external monitor is a Mac.

Any other ideas on how to resolve this issue?
