Progress with overclocking?

    As anyone who is interested in clocking the AAO knows, you cant follow the same method as the msi wind with setfsb.

    i have found a pll id that displays the current status of the fsb clock, but when you change the numbers nothing happens.

    The pll id is : slg505yc256bt (down the bottom of the list)

    maybe this will help something somewhere...

    I've only overclocked desktops, but surely overclocking a laptop without changing fans etc is a very bad idea? Unless you have it mounted on some sort of cooling stand; but if you do that, what's the point of having a tiny laptop? :p

    the point is not overclock but underclock and undervolt it.

    powernowd or cpufreq
    mine running ubuntu can be locked between 800 mhz and 1600mhz or set to scale on demand

    similar to cpuz, but with overclocking feature. I heard you can actually overclock the cpu with the tool.
