The only pause i get in windows is when it first boots up and if i try and open a window or program within the first 20 seconds i get about a 5 second pause but after windows as been running 20 or so seconds it runs perfectly... Like i said in previous post i've just done a full install of XP SP3 and fully updated it through windows update (which gave me no trouble). I've turned off D2D in Bios and Page File in Windows but that's the only tweaks i've done. The Adaptor is exactly the same one Andy as used and I've also used the filter on the cable. The CF card is genuine and not from eBay. Are there any tweaks i need to do as my write speeds seem very low? Your thoughts?
