I'm wondering about getting one of these adaptors, possibly one of the double ps/2 port ones, to allow me to borrow keyboard+mouse at work (the power of usb connectors has yet to penetrate my office). Some googling has thrown up reports of odd bugs with them on linux sometimes. Has anyone used one, and can say if they ought to work?

I've used one (mouse only) on my desktop for years. Never had a problem until recently. It became slow to respond and a bit choppy under Mandriva 2009, so I took off the adapter and used it in USB port. It's still slow and choppy, so I probably just need to buck up and buy a new mouse.
