Putting Icons On Desktop -Anyone Tried This Way?

    Hi,

    I was watching that youtube vid by skateasian on how to put icons on the 4-panel desktop, and noticed that one of the comments mentioned another way of doing it. Ie, by not editting the group-apps file.

    Open a terminal, and type xfce-settings-show (press enter)
    Click on Desktop Settings
    At the bottom of that window you'll find a space to enter a file.

    I haven't had a chance to look at this yet, but I was wondering if anyone had tried this way of doing it, or if it is actually better to edit the group-app file?
