    If you're wondering about "Mobile Partner", that's a Huawei Software. You probably inserted a Huawei based 3g stick

    I am not on about Mobile Partner, look at the image again (full image if needed) the is an arrow pointing to the icon that im on about.

    Ah ok, didn't realize the image was partly covered... No, never seen this icon. You might try looking for the icon files and look into this one.

    There is a faulty entry in your menu file. The macles Blog had a post about it somewhere IIRC: http://macles.blogspot.com/

    Silly question though... WHY are you still using the crap known as Linpus, which in essence is a crippled fedora 8 (for reference: fedora is at version 13 already...) ?
    Just install Xubuntu, jolicloud or any other lightweight up to date linux distro that is actually supported, has working repositories so you can install new software and so on. Most work fine out of the box.

    If you upgraded the memory to 1 gb instead of 512, get Ubuntu Netbook Edition. Sadly it is just *slightly* too heavy for the 512 mb (aka: it works, but stalls from time to time) :(

    because this is the first time i have ever used any linux distro so i am just a noob,very much a windows guy, so thats why! but anyhoo cheers for the reply
