As a novice to Linux I have been trying to follow the threads on this forum to set up file sharing. Most threads refer to using PyNeighborhood-0.4.1 and the most popular thread explains how to install it. http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=89

However the stable version of PyNeighborhood has moved on to 0.5.0 and this has a different method of installation using setup.py script.
The relaes notes state "+New Setup via setup.py (the Python way)".

Can anyone help and explain how to install this to a complete python novice!

Also have same problem. When trying Python installation I get a message that says Python2.5 installation faulty.
Further investigation reveales that the installation is trying to use a file which is not in the Python directory...../.config/makefile ?
