I've already managed to get 1060x600, Core Image and Quartz Extreme enabled on my D150. Is it still necessary to enable QuartzGL? I'm new to the OSX and don't really know what I'm missing. Thanks for your advice.

In my experience enabling QuartzGL has no improvement on the GFX.

The main thing is to get QE/CI hardware acceleration enabled (which it sounds like you have)

Finally found this answer from Apple:
What is QuartzGL and should I have it turned on all the time?
