question about ram upgrade

    I opened my AA1 AOA 150 -1006 / ZG5, found a PC2 512MB 5300-S in the memory slot, total ram installed is 1GB, I want to change the 512Mb to a PC2 2GB 5300-s I found in one of the local shop, is it gonna work? I mean does my AA1 support 2.5GB of RAM?

    Just to clarify -- 2GB max is theoretical. The motherboard has 512mb soldered on, so you can only really install a 1GB DDR max to upgrade to 1.5GB total ram.
