    Hi all in this thread,

I want to buy an A110L but replace the 8GB SSD with a PATA 40/60GB hard drive. Except from taking it apart do I need a special connector or is there a CIF connector to attach my HDD?

Having owned both an A110 and an A150 and having evaluated a 1.8" HD "upgrade" in the A110, I would point out that:

    1. The price difference between and A110 and an A150 will probably be much less than the cost of the 1.8" HD.
    2. 1.8" HD performance generally sucks compared to a 2.5" SATA HD, unless you get one the very latest Samsung or Toshiba devices.
    3. An A150 probably has only 15 minutes less runtime than an A110 on a 3-cell battery.

    YMMV, of course.
