    hi all,
my acer model is: AOA110-1995 (SSD version), and it came with 1GB of ram.

Do all acers come with 512KB (non removable) RAM?
If so, does that mean mine has 512 KB module in the expansion slot?
If not, is the entire 1GB non-removable leaving me with an empty slot?

From what I understand all AAO's come with 512mb fixed and one expansion slot so chances are you've got a 512mb card in the slot which you'll need to remove to make way for a 1gb card.

I've recently upgraded my RAM (wasn't as difficult as I expected it to be) and only saw the one slot.

But the onboard ram is highly visible. It's on the reverse of the board so you see it first.
