    Quick Warning for Acer Aspire One Pro P531H v1.13

    I just bought a bunch of these machines and had a lot of problems with XP.

    XP will not work on this machine and BIOS with the current Intel Chipset drivers located on their website. Upon installation and restart of the drivers, XP will bluescreen.

    The solution (as provided by acer) is to downgrade the BIOS to v1.10 which you can download here. (To install, I just ran mini xp from a boot cd and then ran the file off a USB stick). After restart, change SATA mode to IDE.

    Acer advised that the v1.13 BIOS has been heavily modified to suit Vista and Windows 7.
