    Hello all,

I have owned an AOD150 for about six months, and have generally been a very happy owner. I currently run dual-boot XP and Easy Peasy, and about 95% of my usage is linux. Anyway, over the past few days, my AA1 has developed a bit of a booting quirk. When I cold boot it, the normal BIOS welcome screen appears (offering the usual F2 and F12 options) but it does not advance to the GRUB bootloader...it just sits there with the H20 graphic. If I it ESC it'll advance to GRUB and boot properly, or if I hit ctrl-alt-del to initiate a warm re-boot it'll boot normally (ie, the bios welcome screen, followed by GRUB, followed by whatever OS I select).

This is not a catastrophic problem, as I can easily convince it to boot, but it is a little annoying.... I flashed my BIOS with a view to fixing the problem, but that did nothing to solve the issue. Anybody have any ideas why it just hangs at the initial bios screen?

The only recent change that I've made to my system prior to observing this problem is that I installed the wicd network manager in linux....but that really should have no impact on the cold boot process....

Grateful if anybody has experienced this quirk and found a fix.

    SJ
