Ram on Startup?

    i am wondering how much ram my installation of windows xp uses but i cant seem to fibd out how to see how much ram it uses on startup. Does anyone have any programs that might be abke to help me out??

    Try pressing F2 as soon as the machine boots, to bring up the BIOS settings. It should tell you how much RAM there is.
    Edit: sorry, that will tell you how much RAM is present, but you want to know how much RAM is being used, from second to second, is that it?

    yeah i know how much ram there is i just want to know how much ram i am using for startup and other things

    press ctrl+alt+delete right after windows finished loading

    In the performance tab under the physical memory section

    Total-Available=current ram use - 6MB (taskmanager ram ussage)

    My startup ram ussage is about 50MB (windows xp self optimized edition)
