Random black or white screens

    Using Remix 9.04...

    Randomly my screen will go completely white or black. At this time if a mp3 was playing the audio continues. If I press ctrl-alt-f1 I can exit to a text shell and login fine. If I got ctrl-alt-f7 to get back to the GUI, I still have a blank white or black screen. This will happen randomly it seems, IE watching a video, reading a webpage.

    I'm connected to a 19" LCD at 1440x900 with nothing being projected on the laptop screen.

    Anyone had similar issues?
