Just a few short and quick questions about the AA1...

What does the power adapter look like?
Does the machine include a disk or a way to reinstall Windows XP (I cannot stand trialware or preloaded applications)?

not sure if thats the EXACT one, but thats what a google search came up with and it looks just like mine.

It does not come with a windows CD because the AAO1 does not come with a CD drive. However, some people on here have said that if you called acer and asked for one, they would send it. Apparently they stopped doing it though, haven't tried yet.

    Thanks, Exactly what I needed!

I am getting that unofficial recovery image as I type, I will upload it to some HTTP space I have when I get around to it.

Looking around for a laptop case is going to be a bit more easy now that I know how much space the adapter will take up, VERY glad it isn't a wall wart (Such as a cell phone charger or anything that has the transformer attached to the plug).

I highly doubt it will fit into the neoprene sleeve I saw in the store that I really liked, Though I also have a pretty old Compaq bag that I could use in the meantime or when I need to carry other accessories.

I went with an old attache case and a bit of foam padding. Probably twice the size I need but it's hard-sided and will take a reasonable amount of abuse. If you're going for a soft case, the cases designed for 10" DVD players seem to be appropriate
