Randomly powers down

    I've had this happen a few times now, pulling the battery out and putting it back in seems to fix it though. I will boot it up, and a minute or two later it powers down without warning. It will do this repeatitly until I pull the battery out. Is this a common problem? I will probably call Acer about this issue after the holidays.


    This only happens when its on battery power, haven't had a problem when on AC power yet.

    Mine does the same, on AC power or not (WInXP, White, 160GB). WIll they send mine in?
