Readyboost

    has anyone tried readyboost in vista yet to see if they get a performance gain....i have a stripped version of vista so that not possible for me...just wondering if it makes a difference.

    I've tried it but it didn't seem to be any faster, it only made the left palm rest hot. BTW I used an Adata 4G SDHC 150x card.

    I am using i 2gb PNY card, and I find that it helps.
    It isn't a lot faster, but a little.
    Given I only use mine for about 3 things.

    If you have only 512mb, then maybe you can feel a bit of improvement. But on 1gb up, it wont help much. In fact it will slow down the computer in most cases.
