    Hello everyone,

Here's my first post in this forum. I hope there'll be more. Seems like a good forum.

Anyway, just bought an aspire one SSD 8gb. I bought it to be my sort of "mp3"-computer, connected to my receiver. Just loaded some mp3s, and tried spotify. And the sound quality really sucks. Is this a general problem or might i have a issue with my computer?

Here's what i've noticed, if i turn the volume up on my aspire, it seems to make the bass silent turning the sound into sortof hightreble sound, maybe to prevent distortion?
If i put it lower, it sounds better, but then i have to put the receiver on MAX, and of course, this affects the sound quality. I have tried with headphones with the same results.

Comparing this to a ipod nano, it is really terrible. Any ideas about this?

    Many thanks
    /Vol

Mine is the same, i plugged some high end koss headphones into my aao and loaded up a flac soundfile only to find the quality to be about the same as a cassette tape player !, i have since taken all my flac and mp3's off my aao and dont use it for music now
