I have an AAO 110 running Linux Mint on the original SSD card. I also have a AAO D150-1920 running Win7 and Mandriva Linux.

Both work fine battery charges and all is good.

Now I wanted to increase the battery time on the 110 and started looking for a new longer life battery when I found out the battery in my D250-1920 is the same battery I would need to get for my 110. So of course I swapped batteries. The 110 worked but the battery was not recognized by the system. It showed no battery (even though it was running on the battery) until I connected the power cord and then it said the battery was fully charged. After disconnecting the power cable the system says charged and estimating. The battery light is flashing whether the cord is plugged in or not except for a little while when it is plugged in and not turned on.

I drained the battery completely by letting the computer stay on until it shut down after the the screen showed 0% battery. Then I used the 110 to charge the battery and the light showed red for a while and then started flashing. But when I checked the battery in the D150-1920 it was fully charged.

Checked the battery in both computers and in the D250-1920 it charges and drains properly giving me about 5 hrs and the battery light shows green when not charging. Doesn't flash. Both batteries work properly in their respective computers but the larger battery even though it functions is not recognized in the 110.

My question is how can I get the larger battery to be recognized by the 110?
