recognizing extern hard disk

    My Acer Aspire i with linux linpus doesnt recognize my iomega hdd ; my other computers have no problem. What can I do?

    Is it by chance formatted as NTFS ?

    If so:
    1. Fire up a terminal
    2. Type
    Code:
    sudo yum update fedora-release
    Code:
    sudo yum install ntfs-3g
    Or install ntfs-3g from add/remove software in the advanced menu.
