Recopilation of Windows Vista guides w/ drivers.

I use the ones from Microsoft Updates, seem to work better.

 

Turns out I didn't even install any audio drivers, Vista seemed to take care of it. It detected High Definition Audio Device all on its own. Windows Update didn't install anything either. Anyway, I'm happy

 

Got everything installed, except for the built in microphone on the bezel. Looking in "My Devices" I don't see anything that's unassigned. What gives? Anybody got their mic to work in vista?

 

I am getting a window/screen saying that it needs the driver for a "Base system device".
A separate thread said that these might be the SD card reader. Does anyone know where I can get this driver? This stupid screen keeps popping up every time I start the computer.
