Recovery and OS

Hello everyone. I've been watching the forum for a long time and it's great! ;) Well...i seek answers to a few questions and i'm sure some expert will "light the tunnel"! :) Firstly, i bought an Aspire One A150X. I have a genuine Vista Home Premium OS and i was thinking to upgrade...is it a good idea ? :? If i manage to install Vista over XP how can i restore to the default XP OS? Has anyone tried so far the performance rates of Windows Vista on the AAO? Any recommendations? I would like to thank everyone "ex post".
