Hi Can anyone help with this. The recovery disc will not create a bootable USB drive. Says there is not enough space, but I have tried with 2 GB USB and a 120 gb USB hard drive. I did a system restore previously with same USB drive with no problems. I tried copying files from CD onto the USB drive, but it would not boot the Aspire. Please can you keep answers simple for a newbie - sometimes I get a bit lost with the answers on this foum.
    thanks in anticipation

I'm pretty dumb when it come to computers. But the first thing I did after getting my Aspire was to get an external DVD drive. Some thing that solves a myriad of problems loading software.
