recovery discs

    When I purchased my aspire desktop it came with windows 7 preloaded but no windows discs. I made recovery discs as instructed. If machine fails, can windows 7 be reinstalled from the recovery discs?

    Yes - But, you need to back up all personal files and have any drivers available because the recovery discs create the original "out of the box" configuration.

    Windows 7 can also create a system recovery on an external hard drive or set of DVDs. Check out the "back up" section in the control panel.
