I'm a Linux geek, and now fiddle around with my AA1 on a regular basis. Sadly, this sometimes results in me cocking up something, and having to run a restore from my USB drive.

But it occurred to me that I have a 120GB HDD, and that the recovery routine takes up less than a gig: It would probably be a lot easier if I could just create a restore partition on the hard drive, and boot from that when I need to restore my installation.

However I'm not entirely sure how to go about this. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
