Red colour on my aspire one looks more orange

Hi,

Can anyone comment on the red colour for their own display.

If I go into Kolourpaint and do a red drawing in comes out very orangeish.

Anybody else have thoughts.

Hey! I noticed this exact same thing!
Also, the display takes a long time to update in comparison to others. (Like dragging a black window over a white block, the white remains for a little)
It's the panel used; also, it only supports 6-bit colour, so we get 262k possible colours, instead of 1.67 million.

I began to notice it in 3dsmax8 material editor, I tried to solve it with Intel(R) Driver for Mobile, in color correction tab select red only (not All) Gamma 1.4, Brightness -30, Contrast 45, but not help much, and then I try to darken the red by lowering the Value to 150, the result is not red as I want to, but at least I began to recognize it as red from direct frontal viewing.(sorry my English ).
