Reduce desktop groups' number

    I want to reduce the number of desktop groups (box) on Aspire One Linpus.
    I edit gnome-appl.xml but, if i erase one or more groups tag (and relative "icon list") xfdesktop2 crash.

    After I want to remove setting and help Icon's from desktop

    Any Idea?
