    Forgive me if this has been answered before, i did search but didn't come up with anything;

    I followed the procedures to change my desktop following Jorges tweaks and tips (successfully).

    Since then Thunar will not mount any removables unless I call Thunar from Terminal as root.

    Are these 2 things connected or is there another explanation?

    What is the terminal procedure for mounting a removable outside of Thunar?
