Remove shortcuts arrows on icons - ten seconds solution

    The sortcuts arrows don't look very good, espacially on our small Acer screen. I saw a new Tweak UI for Win 7 on the internet but where I downloaded it for didn't work: remove those arrows in the desktop icons. (It did work ok on my other desktop computer in Win 7).
    The next solution works perfect and can be very easily done:
    1. Open the regedit program
    2. Expand the tree called HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT
    3. Scroll down to the folder called Lnkfile and select it
    4. Delete the key called IS_Shortcut under the Lnkfile folder
    5. Reboot your computer for changes to take effect
