removing desktop icon

    all the tutorials that I've been teaches how to install or add icons on the desktop. now, my problem is that i have this link and i dont know how but i accidentally put a multiple copy of it on my desktop and now i just want to learn on how to remove un wanted desktop icons. any help would be appreciated :)

    Right click on the icon you want removed and choose the "delete" option. You will only delete that icon and not the program.

    Nestone is correct for desktop icons you have created for almost (if not all) OS, but for other icons the method of removing desktop icons will be different in different OS's.
