Is there a way to remove fonts from the system? So that in applications one doesn't have to scroll down through tons of fonts one never uses?

Type--"C:/WINDOWS/Fonts" into the 'Run' command box (from the Start menu). Delete whichever fonts that you wish to get rid of. You have to delete all types (bold, italic, etc.) of each font.

Be warned: This edit is system wide, and will effect any software that you use, or add to your system later. However, it supposedly does speed your windows up a little bit. Haven't messed with it personally.

    Hello jeremysdad

    I'm sorry, my fault!!!
I did not make it clear that my AAO is run by Linux.
So, once again: Is there a way to remove fonts from the system?

Well, maybe this will help a Windows user on down the road. I am sorry, but I am clueless in Linux. Best of Luck, and have a Fabulous New Year!
