I've also seen the videos on RAM upgrade and I know you need to push down the little tabs at the top of the keyboard, but it seems like when I push the tabs down, the keyboard doesn't want to pop up like what I've seen in the videos. Also there's like little to go gap to actually try and pry the keyboard out.

Any more tips would be helpful!

I ended up using a razor blade to pry the top of the board up on mine.

No, the keyboard on the D255 does not pop up as readily as some videos of others models show. The lock tab by the ESC key is also not retractable like the others and you will need to carefuly flex the keyboard in more than one plane to weasel it out.

When upgrading the memory in my D255 I used jewelers screwdrivers to retract the lock tabs and lift out the keyboard to gain access to the bottom cover screws.

Be patient, the keyboard does come out with a little fiddling and after you have it out, the rest of the memory upgrade process is very easy.
