My 60 day trial version of McAfee expires in the next couple of days. Can anyone tell me the best way to remove it from my Aspire One. I intend to load in Panda internet security as I already have a licence left for his software. Having used Norton in the past I am aware that some virus software requires a seperate uninstaller. Any help is appreciated.

Antivirus are all insidious in how they infiltrate the system. I use Revo Uninstaller in its advanced mode, select and delete everything both files and registry. I then use CCleaner file and registry cleaner. Both are very highly regarded: google them. Then, for a big application, I would defragment (Defraggler from the company that makes CCleaner is good) before installing the new security software. These are all free applications.
