removing menu icons?

Hi, i recently purchased my AA1 and have been loving it so far. But there is something thats bothering me. I really don't like many of the games that were preinstalled on the system so i've used the advanced mode and removed the game packages i could find. There were, however, a number of games i couldn't find packages for. I used the desktop search feature and found the files and deleted them, but the icons are still on the screen when i hit the games menu. how do i remove a icon from the menu?
