Frankly Adobe's PDF reader is a resource hog and not worth having around.

Here is how to replace Adobe PDF with the OpenSource Evince:

    Step One
Use the add/remove software tool from under settings in the right click menu to search for "evince" add the most uptodate version (Evince 2.20.2-1 right now)

    Step Two
Remove Adobe PDF by searching for Adobe pdf with the software too and unchecking it.

Note: You will not see it it in the program menu but it will run automatically when opening a PDF. You can also open it by typing evince into the terminal.

How do you get it to work with Firefox? When I try and open a .pdf in Firefox, it says "Adobe Reader is not installed" or something. I can't find the evince folder either, since I'm a Linux noob.

Never mind. I was just too lazy. Figured it out.
