    Hi,

    i have a 8.9" that comes with a 160 GB HDD.

I might get my hands on one of the Intel X25-M SSDs and i'm wondering if i can replace the HDD with this SSD.

Anyone tried that before? Or would a straight SSD to SSD replacement be easier?

I'm sorry to hear you want to do this. The 160 hdd is a good performer, only a mild improvment with a high speed, expensive SSD.

Do it. It's a great upgrade and something that will make you really notice the difference.
