    Hi,

This is a bit embarrassing, but I managed to misplace my root password.

I know I can reset it if I boot to single user mode, but how do I get to the grub boot screen? When I boot I just get the default splash screen for a couple of seconds before X starts. I'm using the default Linpus Lite installation.

How do I get to the grub boot screen?

    Thanks in advance!

Try typing the following in a terminal:
    Code:
    sudo passwd
Voila - you can change the root password. No need for single user mode.
Yes - Acer really thought security was important ;)
