    Hello,

I connected my 22" monitor to my acer 532H and when i disconnect the monitor the windows stay big when I use the netbook. Is there anyway that I can resize the windows back to original resolution size when using the netbook?

Another thing with Windows XP is that for a lot of programs it remebers the size and position of the window. In other words, if you open a window, drag it back to the notebook's screen, manually resize it (by gripping the edges), then close it, it should re-open in a similar size and orientation as to when you closed it. Do this and just "maximise" the windows when they're on the 22" LCD. Otherwise "Restoring" the windows will reduce them back to the size then where when you manually resized them.

Note: This doesn't work in ALL programs.

The above mentioned methods for XP also work under Windows 7. However I have also just recently found another trick on my Win7 machine.

Open the window you want to resize, hold the Windows key on your keyboard, and tap the arrow keys. Left will send the window to the left, up will maximise the window, right will send it to the right and down will restore the window.
