Maybe I missed it somewhere, but are there recovery cd's available for the Aspire One? I don't trust the E-recovery program that comes on the Aspire. What happens if the OS becomes so corrupted that it won't boot? (I've had it happen, don't know how, but the main partition got so messed up that the recovery discs were the only salvation.) The problem with that is, unless you had everything backed up on an off-machine storage device, the recovery discs put the machine back just like the day you bought it and all data is lost. On my desktop I can just thrown in my WinXP disc and overload it and "repair the damaged parts of the OS ansd I'm back up and running. The Aspire One has no such Win XP Home disc with it and all I have is Win XP Pro discs. I have Paragons Hard Disc Manager installed on the Aspire and I suppose I could "mirror" the entire HDD and store it on a bootable CD rom. Would that work? I have checked Acers site and they don't seem to have a set of rescue discs available for the Aspire One. Found a couple of sellers on eBay that claim to have a two disc set (one is OS and the other is all the drivers) and they claim it will work. Any advice? Thanks.
