Well, I was trying to make the system fonts larger on my new Acer so I could see better. Went to "Display", hit "Advanced", and then changed the font size to 200%. Once I did that, I see it is too large. But now I cannot get back to the place I need to be to change it back, because the window that opens when I hit "Display" is too large for the screen and does not allow me to scroll down to where I could select "advanced" again, and fix the problem. Is there someplace where I can restore system defaults for the fonts? Or, any other ideas? There is clearly a reason why idiots should not hit the "advanced" section.

    thanks,
    Molly

if you're using Linpus; Press Alt-key + Left mouse button and "drag" The window

Go to the control panel, then to "appearance and themes", then "display". Look for a tab entitled "appearance" and click on it. On the bottom of that choice is a scroll down box marked "font or font size". Chose "normal" then apply, and that should have you set back to default.
