Restoring linpus

    i have 2 acer one's both using linux however one is from saudi arabia, i did the live update on the one from saudi yesterday and it now has black and white lines across the screen.
    my question now is cos i havent got the restore disc for the saudi one but i do for my uk one, can i use that disc to restore the saudi one??
