I recently bought a Kingston 8GB Class 6 SDHC card for my AA1. (Linpus)

It works fine in the left hand slot as storage expansion - which I don't need - but refuses reoluteley to mount as anything other than readonly on the right hand slot.

I've tried re-partitioning and reformatting with no effect. And interestingly fdisk refuses write access to the raw device if mounted in the right hand slot, but I cannot see any reason why this is.

    Any help appreciated.

All I can think of is check the write-protect on the card and try it in a card reader.

Using a similar Sandisk 8G card, and Windows XP, I can use either left or right hand slot. The card readers are different in that the left hand slot is SD only, while the right hand slot is a multi card reader. Could there be another driver for the multi card reader that might correct this?

So ya'll aren't having any issues with the card readers acknowledging SDHC cards?

Additionally, anyone loaded Vista and used ReadyBoost?
