Root passwd/terminal problem/help

    Hello AA1 Forum'ers,

    I need help, I think I have some kind of bug, When I type the commands to change the root password it tells me to enter my password, But, it wont let me type anything, It will let me press enter but not type, I also tried to Copy and paste the password into it but that doesnt work either, Please help.

    Its a security feature. The terminal will not echo they keyboard to the screen when typing a password. You won't see it, but its there.
