Rosewill ROD-EX001 Burner problems (Teac DV-W28s-R guts)

    Hi everyone. I bought a Rosewill ROD-EX001 DVD Burner (Teac DV-W28s-R guts) from Newegg and can't get the thing to work. I saw in another thread here that someone has this drive and it works fine with the AAO. I am running Windows 7 Starter. I plug the drive in and it seems to recognize it and install the correct driver but the drive will recognize disks and that is about it. I can't open the folders on the drive and sometimes it won't even recognize the disk. The drive works fine plugged into my home system. At this point I think it is a power issue or a driver issue. Does anyone have any advice? (other than contact Rosewill and/or Teac... I am calling them as soon as they open today)
