    Hello AA1 fanatics,

First I removed Icetea java that came with my aspire one using add/remove. I then went too
    Macles blog site
    http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/09/installing-sun-java-on-acer-aspire-one.html

I followed his excellent instructions on how to install Sun Java on the aspire one.
Runescape runs well under Sun Java when fully installed on the second boot up.
First time is a lil slow to load but its downloading all the sprites and what not.

    That was a well-timed post.

I have just abandoned Ubuntu (too slow and poor hardware support) and returned to Linpus but in the process broke my Java installation. Why distros continue to use these weird Java distributions mystifies me but installing Sun Java has fixed my problem.

    Thanks for this.
